Downloads – Although Bigpond offers this service, the range is not as good. The software that you download takes the movie off your computer (heaven knows how!), once the “borrowing period” is over (eg overnight rental). This is not as good as being able to hold on to the rented movies that have been sent in the mail.

Discounted Movie downloads (and purchases) are available in other Countries. This is not available yet in Australia. However given iTunes ability to make multimedia so amazing for all of us, we are all eagerly watching the iTunes Australia store for this to change.
They do have free podcasts of some popular shows such as

Quickflix
Another great Australian Discounted Movie delivery service, much like bigpond movies. Free DVD trial. Significantly Discounted DVD's also once in to their plans, although some don't find it as good as Bigpond when we trialed it.
